We love January
This month is a little like the ugly duckling: difficult to love. It may not have feathers, all stubby and brown, but people are definitely desperate to see the end of January. “Get out, get out, get out of town” they holler, while huddling down to stay out of the biting winds and freezing drizzle. But it is not all bad. Our gardens are offering up little gems of cheer to get us through the post-Christmas, pre-spring slump. Let nobody say that we at Gardeners’ World Magazine are reluctant to shake every cloud in search of the silver lining.
