Welcome to my home
A bit about me
I’m Sarah Cunniffe and I live with my boyfriend, Charlie.
Where I live
My home is a twobed in Bath, and was built in the 1800s. We moved in just before Christmas, 2014.
What I wanted to change
We were desperate to make the whole house more vibrant, but the kitchen needed particular attention. We ended up ripping out the original units, and starting from scratch!
How I made it my own
We tried to fill the house with lots of colour, and lots of homemade bits, too! I made some of the soft furnishings myself, and upcycled secondhand furniture.
My favourite part
Without a doubt, it’s the kitchen. It’s so lovely and light, and I’m so pleased we went ahead with the bright, colourful tiles.
GOOD IDEA
A lick of paint is often all it takes to transform an unloved piece into something spectacular
Sarah’s home is made cosy with a combination of new and preloved items that she’s upcycled using quick and cost-effective methods
GOOD IDEA
Build a display wall with frames of the same shape, but different sizes, for instant personality
