Govan Old Church is tucked into a quiet location on the south bank of the River Clyde. Nestling some distance off the main road, the present church is more than one hundred years old, while everything which once surrounded it has disappeared with the passage of time and economy: gone are the soot-blackened tenements, and their inhabitants who laboured in the iconic Clydeside shipyards; gone are the many docks from which
