The winning recipe for last year’s World’s Best Martini competition involved 10 parts Daffy’s Gin to one measure of Noilly Prat, together with orange peel, a mint leaf, cassia bark, ground almonds and a drop of coriander tincture. This January, the winner for 2018 will be announced. Five gins are in the running and at the Contenders Challenge Event, guests can test out the gin-makers’ entries before the judges make their decision.
