The Synergy is a stunning new turntable design from British company SME, in collaboration with leading audio specialists. It combines the legendary SME Series IV tonearm, Ortofon’s excellent MC Windfeld Ti cartridge and a phono stage by respected hi-fibusiness Nagra – all coupled with silver wire by Crystal Cable. Synergy’s chassis is machined from ‘aerospace’ aluminium and supported on four large polymer isolators inside adjustable feet, which allow for levelling while enhancing sound quality through isolation. It’s an attractive all-in-one solution, which doesn’t compromise audiophile necessities.
