Notion Magazine  |  81 - Autumn '18

- Octavian -
For four years Octavian was one of the thousands of ‘hidden homeless’ who live on the streets, floors and sofas of this city. Now he’s all anyone can talk about. Hailed as the new emperor of Britain's rap scene he's gone from sleeping on the streets of London to walking runways for Louis Vuitton.

- Flohio -
When it comes to grime, Flohio is a class of her own. Born in Lagos and raised in South London, over the past few years she’s been crafting a wild take on the genre in her ends of SE16. Follow in the footsteps of Skepta and Stormzy to take the country, nay, the world, as her own. We meet grime’s new golden girl.

- Lucky Blue Smith -
Lucky Blue Smith is twenty, he’s been modelling for almost half of his life. Having rose to fame at aged 12, after being shot for Vogue Homme Japan by none other than Celine creative director Hedi Slimane. Now one of the most in demand models in the world he’s fronted and walked for every fashion house you can name.

- Hayley Kiyoko -
A former Disney star turned international pop sensation Hayley Kiyoko manages to both fit the perfect pop star mold and shatter it at the same time. A half Japanese, lesbian woman she’s the face of a new breed of pop that has taken over the charts this year, with her debut album expectations, Kiyoko’s made headlines with her ‘TWENTYGAYTEEN’ tagline.

- SimiHaze -
Globe-trotting twins SimiHaze are more than your average Instagram stars. Born to Palestinian parents they’ve grown up all over the world, from Los Angeles to London and made friends with every trendsetter and boundary breaker in the process. Now they’re gearing up to take the music world by storm as well, turning their hands to production with a little help from some very famous friends.
