FEARS of vandalism to Staffin Bay’s famous dinosaur footprints have proved unfounded, writes Sara Bain.
On December 28, Skye police put out a call for information after members of the local community reported a man in a campervan had been spotted pouring plaster-cast into the 165-million-year-old fossilised prints.
