The announcement of the preliminary rounds of the National Gaelic Schools Debate competition has been made and the 2018 competition looks set to be another excellent year.
The first two rounds will be held at the town hall in Stornoway on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 6 and 7.
Last year, for the first time, the first rounds from Stornoway were available online, through e-Sgoil’s YouTube channel and the Deasbad Committee will be making sure that this year’s first round will also be livestreamed to a potentially global audience. Sixteen teams from 14 schools are due to compete.
