THE next hearing regarding a judge from Fort William charged with drink driving and possession of a knife will take place next month.
The case against Richard Twining Sidgwick, 71, from Mileston Hill House was presented in his absence in Fort William sheriff court on Monday (August 14) at a notional trial. The court also heard that Sidgwick has recently been hospitalised.
The former QC previously appeared on May 12 after registering 110 milligrams of alcohol in a 100mg breath sample at his home the previous evening.
