Local youngsters did their bit for this year’s Children in Need appeal, with the BBC’s annual fundraiser on Friday garnering a record UK nationwide total of more than £50 million.
Pupils at St Columba’s Primary in Caol raised a fantastic £455.05, while those at Lundavra raked in a superb £231 from their events.
Pupils at Caol Primary collected an amazing £330, while Banavie Primary’s ‘dress down day’ raised a brilliant £355.52 Other primary schools holding events for Children in Need included Inverlochy and Strontian.
