It’s that time of year again, when a new season is about to kick off and hope and enthusiasm is at its highest amongst the clubs and their fans who are counting down the days until the players are back in action out on the pitch.

The Cherry and Whites certainly start as firm favourites, but last year’s beaten Grand Finalists Hull KR will be aiming to go one better, and ambitious Warrington Wolves will be hoping Sam Burgess can use the experience he gained as a rookie head coach last year to lead them to their first ever Super League title.
