THE LUMBER OF THE BEAST Motorola Razr 60 Ultra
Trees are famously not very bendy, so wood probably seems like an unlikely material to make a foldable phone out of, but that hasn’t stopped Motorola giving it a go. This ‘mountain trail’ version of the new Razr 60 Ultra is partly made from real wood – unsurprisingly, a first for a folding phone.
Of course, the actual bendy bits are made from other stuff: the hinge is reinforced with titanium and the 7in screen on the inside is a Super HD OLED that’s been Pantone-validated. Power comes from Qualcomm’s speedy Snapdragon 8 Elite chip – which, when paired with the 4700mAh battery, should provide plenty of grunt for the customisable 4in outer touchscreen as well. You can use that as a viewfinder, with a trio of 50MP cameras to choose from, including an ultrawide one and a high-res Super Zoom.
