In September, our Project Trail team gathered for a weekend of advice, training and a warm-up race: the eight-mile Cranham ‘Mummy’ Beast

Since they first met up in Wimbledon a couple of months ago , the Project Trail team has been WhatsApping each other with r egular training updates and support. When team member Clar e suggested the other ladies come to sta y in the holida y cabins on her family farm in Gloucestershir e, and join her at a local hilly r ace, Abbey and Stephanie w ere quick to sign up and team coach Anne-Marie Lategan came along too. We joined them the afternoon befor e the Cranham Beast, in the stunning setting of Clar e’s home near Coaley on the edge of the Cots wolds, to find out ho w their preparation was progressing.
