The word on the site seems to be – you can tour all year round and why wouldn't you? In December, our green and pleasant land might have a dusting of the white stuff and be a little chillier but that's just an excuse to dig out the knitwear and walk to the nearest pub for a mulled wine! More sites are opening during winter and with top-class facilities – there's no reason why you can't go out and enjoy yourself. Yes, you might need to be a little more prepared (don't forget your snowchains and de-icer) but that shouldn't spoil the fun. Today's caravans are made to withstand the British winter and if you don't have to, why pack it away?
