The word on the site seems to be – you can tour all year round and why wouldn't you? In December, our green and pleasant land might have a dusting of the white stuff and be a little chillier but that's just an excuse to dig out the knitwear and walk to the nearest pub for a mulled wine! More sites are opening during winter and with top-class facilities – there's no reason why you can't go out and enjoy yourself. Yes, you might need to be a little more prepared (don't forget your snowchains and de-icer) but that shouldn't spoil the fun. Today's caravans are made to withstand the British winter and if you don't have to, why pack it away? Of course, if you want to, you need to take some action to make sure it's exactly as you left it come spring. Read all about that in this issue. Oh yes, Happy Christmas!
