Set up the camera for better quality photos at high ISOs
Many digital cameras have high ISO noise reduction, a software algorithm that is applied to jpegs as they are saved in-camera. It’s a useful feature with various strengths usually available and the process is quick, so that it doesn’t compromise shooting speeds. Some cameras feature a multi-shot option where several frames are taken and the results are merged in-camera. However, this mode only works on static scenes captured with a tripod-mounted camera.
