RADIOHEAD A Moon

Shaped Pool Reviews of the band’s ninth LP read more like sociological think-pieces. The very inclusion of a studio recording of True Love Waits, for example – a song that’s been illusive to fans for decades, after first being played live in 1994 – made a more powerful statement about loss, love and longing than anything else to be released this year. And that’s before even listening to the thing. Hitting stores on vinyl and CD this month, with swelling strings, glitchy electronica and Thom Yorke’s crystalline falsetto, this is Radiohead’s most complete album in years.

Rated 4 out of 5 circles
