One way of creating a more eye-catching title sequence for your productions is to add animated and textured 3D text to your clips. Working in 3D can be tricky, but thanks to presets we can quickly add texture and movement to your titles. We’ll demonstrate how to use presets to add a grungy metallic look to 3D text to make it suit our clips’ industrial location.
We’ll also show you how to use animation presets to make the text drop into shot (rather than fiddling with time-consuming key-frames). You’ll learn how to manually move and rotate the text to make it fit the perspective of the picture. We’ll also demonstrate how to give the 3D text more presence by making the ground shake with a clang as the text hits the ground.
