Organise your files
The free version of Disk Space Analyzer only shows which files and folders are using the most space on the disk (SSD or HD), it does not let you manage them. Upgrading to the Pro version is one option, but the free (Inspector) version can be used in combination with Finder to track down and move or delete large files to free up space.
You may find that the drive in your Mac is nearly full after a year or two’s use if it is a small to medium capacity unit. Do you wonder where all the space is being used? Although you can see a simple display by going to Apple menu>About This Mac>Storage, and see a little more detail by clicking ‘Manage’, the Disk Space Analyzer: Inspector app takes this to a whole new level.
You can see the biggest files in the chart or file list and then switch to Finder to manage them.
