Series of 12-week Writing Your Family History online modules, from September 2020 

Learn how to bring your ancestors to life, deal with missing pieces and anomalies, create relevant background context and craft your writing skills.

Both the writing modules (and house history course – see ‘New online house history course’ opposite page) are tutor led with a dedicated learning hub, written course materials at regular intervals, personal and practical guidance, regular in-depth feedback and live discussions.

Taught by professional house historian, genealogist, author (of Tracing Your House History and Writing Your Family History) and tutor Gill Blanchard. Cost: £150.

Society of Genealogists online talks & courses, September 

These live talks, which take place on Zoom, are open to all and include a question and answer session. More information about the online talks can be found on the events section of www.sog.org. uk. Cost £10. 

Starting on 10 September (weekly until 3 December), the Society of Genealogists will host an online skills course, from 6-8pm.
