SOFTWARE: BLENDER
HOW DO I CREATE AN OCEAN MATERIAL IN BLENDER?
Blender also ships with an Ocean modifier that you can use to create a sea surface. This modifier includes a texture that can be used for rendering the water surface and includes a range of parameters that can be used to fine-tune the appearance of the water.

Water is a complex material.
It contains a whole host of different properties that can be difficult to replicate in a 3D programme. The more notable of these properties are reflection and refraction. In a lot of cases, both of these properties will need to be considered. If you have a material that implements only one of these and not the other, then the viewer will be able to tell there’s something not quite right.
