Coming up on August Bank Holiday Monday (August 26) is an annual event which brings thousands of eager buyers to the grounds of a stately home in Wiltshire.
Run for the past 37 years by the Rotary Club in aid of local charities, the Wilton House Car Boot is held at Wilton House, the seat of the Earls of Pembroke (right). This event is huge and involves around 700-plus car boots and 10,000 visitors raising about £15,000 for the club’s charities.
The boot runs from 9am-2pm with gates open to sellers from 6am.
