Open from 10am until noon, there will be the opportunity for anyone who comes along to view the beautiful ‘Kilmartin cloth’, which is awarded to the winner of the embroidery competition between the Mid Argyll institutes. The Kilmartin cloth was completed in 1953 and achieved second place in a national competition. It was designed and created by seven ladies from the (now closed) Kilmartin institute and handed over to the Mid Argyll group in 2006.
