West of Scotland Conservative MSP Jamie Greene told a public meeting this week that the Arran ferry port debate had been ‘dragging on much longer than needed’.
As a result he said he would be writing to transport minister Humza Yousaf this week asking for a definitive answer to the date of the announcement.
His comments came as Cunninghame Housing Association held a public meeting in Ardrossan on Monday night to keep locals up to date on parliamentary progress on the decision on whether the Arran ferry should move to Troon or stay in Ardrossan.
