MV Caledonian Isles, which operates on the busiest route in the CalMac network, carried a record number of vehicles and passengers last year.
Figures released by Caledonian MacBrayne shows the Ardrossan to Brodick route was the busiest route in the network and carried 828,262 passengers and 202,843 vehicles during 2016, a rise of 8.7 per cent and 6.84 per cent respectively.
