Get ready for Christmas health service closures

With GP practices closing on Tuesday December 25 and Wednesday December 26, Arran residents are being urged to prepare to cope with any common health concerns

Over Christmas, when GP practices are closed, patients can still get advice from a community pharmacist or NHS 24. On Arran all pharmacies will be open as normal on Monday December 24 but will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

If anyone needs a doctor or dentist and it cannot wait until their GP or dental surgery is open, call NHS 24 on 111. The War Memorial Hospital in Lamlash will be open for accidents and emergencies.
