I read in last weeks Banner of CalMac’s intention to no longer sell six-journey tickets because of abuse. This makes no sense whatsoever. What business would turn down being paid up front for a service not yet provided?
Surely CalMac must know who the apparent culprits are since you have to give your details, including car make and registration, when booking which is checked off at the terminal. They could simply contact these people and ask for a non returnable booking fee for future sailings.
