You’ve done nine music videos to accompany the tracks on your new album Pseudo Visions. Is the visual element important to you?
Absolutely. It was very much a way for me to make the album in the way I wanted. I’m usually a perfectionist, and I wanted to make a record that didn’t end when you finished making it, so I make these videos as part of the continued process. That and playing the songs live as well. The live situation is the most direct inspiration you can get as an artist.
