A fter years of rumblings and rumours, 2019 will be remembered as the year Strictly Come Dancing saw its first same-sex dance, between professional dancers Graziano Di Prima and Johannes Radebe. The moment, sound-tracked by a live Emeli Sandé performance, was seen and enjoyed by millions (and perhaps hints at the arrival of a competitive same-sex pairing before too long), but no one enjoyed it more than the dancers themselves. “At the end of the day, you don’t need to have a female and a male to dance; as long as you love dancing,” Graziano, 25, explains after wrapping his Attitude cover shoot. “Dance is love, that’s it,” he adds.
