Hello Baking Heaven friends and welcome to our April issue. What a brilliant month it is, because not only is the weather getting better, but Easter is upon us! That means lots of food, gatherings and most importantly, chocolate! It’s one of my favourite times of the year because we get lots of holiday and feasting – it’s like Christmas but without the pressure of having to go on a massive quest for gifts!
I’ve been busy baking as usual, but also I’m so excited because this April I’m launching some of my new cake decorating tools and kitchen accessories. I have been working on them for about a year and I’m so happy with them and I hope you can check them out on my website!
For this month’s recipes, I’ve given you three fun Easter-themed treats and they all contain chocolate, of course. First up, for a superfast ‘cheats’ fudge, have a go at my Easter fudge. So pretty with the fun Easter chocolates plunged into the white chocolate fudge and it only takes minutes to make.
Next up, have a go at my Easter bark cupcakes. They look really effective with the shards of chocolate covered in Easter sweets and chocolates, giving a bit of height and drama to the delicious frosting. Lastly, try my Easter cheesecake, perfect for a pudding after Easter lunch, it’s really playful with the cereal chocolate base which reminds me of the Easter nests I made as a child, it’s triple chocolate too and looks so pretty when sliced!
