Wow, what an amazing summer! I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, with all those warm evenings lazing around on campsites with family and friends. Best summer ever.
This issue is an emotional one for me. For starters, I'm delighted to announce that with effect from the next issue (the February issue, on sale 17 January) we're going monthly! You wanted more issues, so that's what we're doing. We'll bring you even more Campervan goodness at regular intervals, so now is the perfect time to subscribe...
The other change is that next issue will be in the capable hands of Geneve Brand, who takes over as Editor. You'll know Geneve from her tales of madcap walking and festival adventures in her beloved VW T25. You're in safe hands, as anyone who inks their campervan permanently onto their body is clearly quite mad and therefore highly suited to editing Campervan!
I only hope at some point she'll see the light and switch to a modern campervan that starts on the first turn of the key and doesn't need annual welding...
We've crammed this issue with as many new and interesting vans as we could get hold of and have some great travel features covering Scotland, Yorkshire, France and Lincolnshire.
