In the October 2023 issue we reported on a secret stash of cars associated with the French Derby marque. One of these vehicles was a vintage Derby Sports, a model about which very little has been written over the years. Then in August 2023 there was a gathering of classic machinery in the garden of the château where the vehicles were stored and – surprise, surprise – the Derby Sports was wheeled out of its barn to take part in the event, in ‘as found’ condition.
