The music world lost one of its most important and influential songwriters on 30 November when Christine McVie, long-time member of Fleetwood Mac, passed away at the age of 79.
McVie, who was born Christine Perfect in the Lake District in 1943, officially joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 as a fully-fledged member after previously contributing – sometimes uncredited – to the band’s three-album run of Mr. Wonderful, Then Play On and Kiln House.
