JBL makes a wide range of portable speakers in a variety of shapes and sizes, which are generally excellent quality. The new Flip 7 doesn’t buck this trend.
Its cylindrical shape and modest size – 6.9x18.3x7.1mm (HxWxD) – means it fits nicely in the hand and slots conveniently down the side of a backpack or travel bag. It comes with two clip-on straps – one is a carabiner hook for attaching to bags; the other goes round your wrist. These can be switched around using a mechanism similar to a seat belt clip.
