MICROSOFT OFFICE
Play feedback sounds to confirm specific actions
You can make Excel, PowerPoint and Word play a sound to confirm that a certain action has taken place.
To do this, open a spreadsheet, presentation or document and click File at the top left, then Options at the bottom of the menu. Now click Accessibility on the left ( 1 in our screenshot) – or ‘Ease of Access’ in older versions – and tick ‘Provide feedback with sound’ 2 then choose the Modern or Classic sound 3 and click OK. The latter is more vibrant and easier to hear, but try both to see which one you prefer.
The quickest way to test these is to perform one of the actions that triggers a sound, such as pasting text, deleting a block of text, saving a file or closing a box.
Note that turning on a feedback sound in one app in Microsoft Office applies it to them all.
