First of all, Dancing Times would like to apologise for the late delivery of the magazine last month. Although everything was printed and ready to go on time, the winter weather that suddenly swept across the country at the end of February meant there were considerable delays to the delivery of the magazine. Hopefully, you will all have received your March copy by now, but if you have not, please contact us at the address below. Now that it is April, let’s all hope that Spring has finally sprung.
This month, we hear from three directors of ballet companies: Kevin O’Hare, who discusses his future plans for The Royal Ballet; Christopher Hampson, who writes an excellent article on how dance leaders need to offer more to their dancers; and Julio Bocca, who talks about how he helped transform Uruguay’s Ballet Nacional SODRE.
We also mark the centenary of the birth of Jerome Robbins, one of the finest choreographers of the 20th century, and welcome the return to London’s West End of the stage musical Chicago.
Finally, a reminder there is still time to complete and send in the Readers’ Survey we published last month. You could win a prize if you do!

Dancing Times

I think more contemporary dance reviews and dance artists from this discipline are missing. I love the magazine, it only seems to cover mainly ballet and ballroom. Beoordeeld op 15 augustus 2020

Great read??
