THE Five Best Dalek Comic-Strip Stories

The Daleks presented Terry Nation’s original version of the creatures’ origins in a comic strip that didn’t feature the Doctor or his companions at all. An outstanding example from this weekly series is an untitled story informally known as Legacy of Yesteryear (TV Century 21, 1966), which revisits year zero via the discovery of three surviving members of the humanoid race that created the Daleks. The deceitful survivors embark on a ruthless bid for power that demonstrates how similar they are to their infamous creations.
