Over the past 15 years, since Doctor Who returned to television, this column has charted its remarkable accomplishments and attempted to put the official BARB (Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board) numbers into context. While some seasons have performed better than others, the bottom line is that every single episode during that period – over 150 of them, now – has landed inside the weekly TV top 30.
