For our thirtieth issue we go behind the scenes of two-spirit writer/director Bretten Hannam’s latest film Wildhood, an award winning, coming of age movie starring Phillip Lewitski and Joshua Odjick as two indigenous teenagers who find love in the unlikeliest of circumstances. Poised to hit the big time, we caught up with both actors for a chat at this years BFI Flare Film Festival. Our artist spotlight shines on Brazilian painter Daniel Jaen in a specially curated collection, Refracted And Echoed, exploring the fluidity within masculinity. Californian photographer Tony Perez brings together years of street photography in a collection of new thought provoking composites, and Simon J. Webb returns with a photo gallery of models tasked with lighting themselves in The Art Of Self Illumination.
