As I write this, it is a cold, rainy June day, which is now beginning to feel like the norm as opposed to the exception, and in the immortal words of Morecombe and Wise, I just wish someone would Bring me Sunshine. By stark contrast however, the photo shoot day provided us with the kind of heat seldom experienced outside of the Mediterranean to show off this month’s gallery. A collection of bright jewel tones mixed with a sprinkling of soft summer pastels, there is a distinct air of the exotic about it. From the vibrant turquoise of the Alice cardigan (page 64) to the soft pink of Marie Wallin’s ‘Peaceful’ (page 62), the garments looked gorgeous and fi tted in perfectly with this month’s theme of ‘The Garden Party’.
