NORTH WALES maintained their push for the favourable second spot in the final table with an eventually comfortable victory.
It is often said that a good big ‘un usually beats a good little ‘un - and that was pretty much the case in this contest.
Most of the Crusaders players looked bigger, more powerful and more mature, and with a gameplan that makes the most of these attributes, they were formidable opponents for an Oldham side containing quite a few youngsters, and not a great deal of raw power.
