THERE will be more Rugby League Magic in Newcastle this week - with the Wheelchair Super League next to take over the city. Following in the slipstream of Super League’s event at St James’ Park last weekend, attention will be on the North East again this Saturday with a round of fixtures being played at Northumbria University. All six Wheelchair Super League teams will be in action, starting at 12pm when defending champions Halifax Panthers play Hull FC.
Current league leaders Leeds Rhinos play Warrington Wolves at 2pm, before Wigan Warriors and London Roosters complete the day at 4pm.
