Richard Jarvis Moorhens, Mallards & Mayflies, linocut, 6x6in. (15x15cm)

The Natural Eye Winning works at the Society of Wildlife Artists’ annual exhibition - The Natural Eye at the Mall Galleries in November - include Richard Jarvis’s striking linoprint Moorhens, Mallards & Mayflies (right). Richard won the Dry Red Press Award and his winning work will be reproduced later as a greetings card (www.dryredpress.com). The linocut is part of a British Wildlife A-Z and the artist is currently working on using oil-based inks and hand-tinting with watercolour.
