It’s so easy to hate winter. It’s cold, dark and often bleak – hardly inspiring! But at Let’s Get Crafting, you’ll know that we always
look to the positives. That’s why we’re fully embracing the season.
After all, what better time to hunker down with your latest WIP
and a warm beverage?
This edition’s Sugarplum yarn kit goes all out on wintry colours.
Cool shades are met with a bold burgundy-red, plus there’s a
variegated yarn that is truthfully too lovely for words. You’ll see
it at play throughout our pattern offering, but it looks particularly
special on the yeti’s jumper on page 50.
It also works brilliantly on hair, as you’ll see with the latest
instalment of Knitting vs Crochet on page 30. Both fairies are
utterly adorable! Cuteness comes in spades actually, which we’re
sure you’ve come to expect. There’s a pyjama-clad doll, teddy bear
trio and penguin, plus a bunch of mini makes from Sachiyo Ishii.
Back to cosiness though. You’ll be pleased to know we’ve got bonus patterns to keep you and yours snug. Crochet bear socks for little ones on page 58, knit a Fair Isle panel jumper for yourself (p54) and – rather wonderfully – crochet a golden snitch blanket for a bubba on page 34. That’s right, it’s a Harry Potter pattern! To top it off, Heidi embraces all things cosy on page 26.
