CAL SETS THE PACE
LCR Honda rider Cal Crutchlow finished the final test of the 2018 MotoGP season with the fourth-fastest time and ahead of many of his factory rivals. But while his one-lap pace was impressive, it only tells half the story. His race pace shows that he was the fastest of all during his eleven lap race simulation.
Completing the three-day outing at Qatar’s Losail circuit, the British rider’s race simulation on the final day was the fastest of the entire MotoGP grid. Valentino Rossi came closest to Cal, just fifteen thousandths of a second a lap adrift on his factory Yamaha.
