GAME OF DRONES
They’re already being used for everything from parcel deliveries to aerial photography, but researchers at Hongik University in South Korea are now working on a new application: the fitness drone. The conceptual design is yet to be built, but the aim is to serve as a flying personal trainer for runners. The drone will collect performance data, take photographs and videos, and connect to a pod worn around the runner’s neck, which will deliver real-time voice feedback on posture, speed and other key metrics.
