“THE INTENTION WAS always to create a band that was angry about something worth being angry about,” says Murphy Katana, vocalist of youthful Sacramento hardcore quintet Kind Eyes. “We wanted to add some inclusivity into the scene, some representation – for POC by POC – to find a way to say what they can’t.”
