Cadillac has revealed its forthcoming LMDh challenger for both the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA next season. The new Project GTP Hypercar is built around Dallara’s next-generation LMP2 chassis and will feature a 5.5-litre V8 engine mated to the spec hybrid components demanded by the LMDh rulebook. It is not yet known whether the engine will be turbocharged or not.
The car will bring Cadillac back to the Le Mans race for the first time since 2002 and has been designed in partnership with Cadillac’s Racing and Design departments.
