Gina Haspel, the Trump administration’s nominee for CIA director, is sworn in during her confirmation hearing before the Senate intelligence committee on May 9. She promised not to revive the CIA’s enhanced interrogation program if she is confirmed. Haspel would be the agency’s first female director.
