A bruised reed He will not break, and a smouldering wick He will not quench, till He brings justice and a just cause to victory – (Matthew 12:20
I have a small area of garden behind my shed in which I grew potatoes. Every year, I added more compost until it was well more than a foot deep.
One year I stopped planting potatoes and used the ground as a ‘hospital bed’ for sick and dying plants and shrubs which I wanted to keep. I carefully transplanted them to the sheltered area where they were looked after, fed and watered until they returned to their full healthy blooms.
